How to Use:

For Small Gardens and Potted Plants:

  1. Measure the Amount Needed:
  2. Hydrate the Soil Vigor®: 
    • Fine Granules (20-100 mesh): Allow 5-10 minutes for the crystals to absorb water and expand.
    • Large Granules (5-10 mesh): Allow 5-6 hours for full absorption and expansion.
    • Soil Vigor (Tablespoon) | Water Absorbed (Cups) | Water Absorbed (Gallons)
      1/4 tablespoon: 11.625 cups | 0.73 gallons
      1 tablespoon: 46.5 cups | 2.91 gallons
      2 tablespoons: 93 cups | 5.82 gallons
      3 tablespoons: 139.5 cups | 8.73 gallons
  3. Mix with Soil:
    • Once hydrated, mix the Soil Vigor® evenly into your garden or potting soil at the root level. Then, plant your flowers, vegetables, or houseplants and top off with additional soil.
    • If you prefer, you can mix dry Soil Vigor® directly into the soil before watering.
  4. Rehydration:
    • Rehydrate as needed during dry periods to maintain moisture. Typically, houseplants may need watering once every two weeks, while outdoor plants can go about a week, depending on the weather. For longer vacations, water generously before you leave—Soil Vigor® helps plants stay hydrated for up to 3 weeks.
    For Large Gardens or Lawns:
    1. Calculate the Amount:
      • See the Soil Vigor® Coverage Guide above to determine the correct amount based on your area size and needs.
    2. Mix Dry Soil Vigor® with Soil:
      • A spreader can be used for an even distribution. We recommend starting at a lower setting and testing a small area for coverage, as spreader settings vary by brand and model due to differences in flow rate and design.
    3. Water the Area: 
      • Water thoroughly after application to activate the polymer and allow it to retain moisture in the soil.
    4. Rehydration: 
      • Rehydrate as needed during dry periods.
    5. Storage:
      • Store any unused Soil Vigor® in a dry, cool place.
